BeVQ App Download: Kerala Resumes Liquor Sales with BevQ Amid Technical Issues

top-news

Nearly 2.25 lakh people downloaded and registered in BevQ, an android application within hours after it went live on google play. As of now the total down count has crossed 5 Lakh.

What is BevQ and who is behind it?

Kerala State Beverages Corporation (BEVCO) Limited has launched the BEV Q mobile app for online liquor queue token purchase. The aim of this beverage sales queue management app is to help sell liquor in Kerala state. Interested Malayalees can order online through the SMS and BEVCO App APK.

The Kerala government announced liquor sales start from 28th May 2020 for people after a successful release by Faircode company. Excise Minister T P Ramakrishnan launched the app in a meeting.

Guidelines

Those who want to buy liquor online must download the Android or iPhone mobile application Bev-Q for liquor booking Queue token. Simple, right!

Glitches and Technical Issues in BevQ App

Starting user feedback is not very encouraging for the developers and Kerala beverage State Corporation as OTP and login glitches diluted the fun of quick sign up for drinking enthusiasts.

One user says, Stupid app. Don't even allow me to complete the registration. It is showing OTP sent, but to whom!!! First impression: highly disappointing. Total waste waiting these many days. Later he updated the review saying: finally, I received OTP and booked a slot. And you know what, the outlet I got is 50+ km away from my location...!!

Another one says “Initially even though it had some errors, it is working quite effectively now! Got the OTP within seconds.”

The app developer company Kochi-based Faircode Technologies is facing heat from users. Users are not ready to give the slightest of space for developers for the delay in making the app available in perfect condition. The BevQ app is hanging on a low 2.4 rating as of now.

Faircode resorted to getting another OTP provider to fix the initial issues. We will try to get comments from the Faircode team about what went wrong and what users can expect from the next update.

Can't find the app link in the play store? It is again because it is published under Kerala State Beverages Corporation's name. When you find it, book your slot and just after first sip, show some love to the developers by improved ratings.
